Pain is stimulus for life, every action in life is either because of pain or to avoid it. There is nothing called happiness, and if at all it is there, it is because of avoiding pain.

living at any cost is the stimuls of life..
There is nothing like pain and happiness.. we have defined all that.. again .. as you siad it all depends on your expectations
